This is our entry level group. Although an athlete need not have any synchro background to enter this class, they should have at least level 4 or 5 swimming skills* and be between the ages of 7 and 11. This beginning program is designed to teach the skills needed to move into the L.A. Synchro Novice program. This class has a size limit of 6 swimmers per class. Classes run 10 to 14 weeks, culminating with a small exhibition to showcase what they have learned.
*A Level 4 or 5 is a swimmer that knows how to swim and that has passed the prior levels 1(water confidence), 2 (beginner), and 3 (advanced beginner) through city or private swim classes. They should have confidence in the water and be ready to refine their strokes, improve conditioning, and learn basic synchro skills.
