Los Angeles Synchro (LAS), a member of U.S. Synchronized Swimming, is a year-round synchronized swim team that competes in local, regional, and national competitions. Our team has placed in the top ten at Age Group National Championships in both team and small routines. Los Angeles Synchro's 11 month competitive season runs from September through July. The goal of the team is to promote "Fun, friends, and achieving our goals!"
LAS is a City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation & Parks sponsored program. We were established in 1979 by Patti Woodman to provide novice swimmers with an opportunity to achieve a higher level of synchronized swimming skills. Over the years, with the guidance from top coaches, our program and swimmers have continued to advance.
We are thankful to the collective effort put forth by the coaches, parents, staff, team members, and City of Los Angeles that has allowed Los Angeles Synchro to gain recognition both regionally and nationally.
